Adam Richman- Man vs. Food |
Jessica and I went to Las Vegas last night and I have to try to explain in words just how much food you get at this place... Let's see... This place was on Man Vs. Food and the food 120% won in our case...
Hash House A Go Go -
Twisted Farm Foods
You can go to their website and check out all of the awards they have received... Impressive for sure...
It is located at;
6800 West Sahara Ave, Las Vegas NV 89146
Talk about having an enormous plate of food in front of you and wanting to do nothing more but finish every last bite. Hash House was presented on the Food Network on show’s like Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives and Man vs. Food. We like to watch Man vs. Food and I had to ask what Adam ordered. I was ever so glad I didn't order it. One the episode from the Las Vegas hash House he ordered the Fried Chicken and Waffles. When I seen others get theirs, I was thanking God that I didn't order it. Not because it didn't look good. It looked more than yummy. But there was so much food. Then out came ours.

Chicken Pot Pie |
Jessica ordered the Stuffed bacon Cheeseburger with mash potatoes and fries on the side. Jessica's came out before mine did and I was like, Yeahhhhh, glad I didn't get that... Again too much food. The waiter came out with a huge plate and I was thinking it was someone else's. Nope, it was mine and I was in shock with how much food was in my Chicken Pot Pie. I was only able to eat 1/4 of the food and brought back half and left the rest there. Some of the yummy finds in my pot pie was broccoli, not little pieces, but big pieces, slivers of carrots, onions, 1/4 diced red potatoes, mushrooms, fresh rosemary and not even sure what else because there was so much... Oh and of course there was a very generous amount of chicken.
I don't even want to think about how many calories or fat was in my pot pie. But oh my goodness was it heavenly. I usually don't write about places in Vegas, but you just gotta try this place... When we first looked at the menu, we gasped at the prices and then the food came out and we gasped at the amount of food and can see why the price was like it was. The picture does NO justice to this Chicken Pot Pie. It was the size of a serving platter and huge isn't even a good word to describe the amount of food on my plate alone.

Smores Mocha |
Oh, I have to give an honorable mention to the drink that Jessica had. I would be on a sugar high for a week with this one... It may be a good thing for Rachel's Coffee. But it is a Smores Mocha. It had way rich hot chocolate topped with a layer of atleast a 1/2 inch of marshmallows. Then the marshmallows were heated and done just like on a camp fire. I'm not done here... After that they put graham crackers around the rim with chocolate drizzled all over... I can't even describe how awesome thing looked and Jessica was in Smore Heaven... The Smores Mocha doesn't look that big on this picture, but it is the size of three pretty good sized coffee cups.
My grandson ordered a Children's Grilled Cheese with fresh fruit. It only had once slice of pineapple, but JJ was happy with it and he ate what he could of the grilled cheese... It had ALOT of cheese on it to say the least...
- Sandie- Roasted chicken, pan gravy, farm fresh veggies in an upside down cracker crust shell- $18.00
