Q4U Barbeque- St. George Utah
Q4U has changed names to Dubs... But the menu is the same and it is located in the same place...
The other day my daughter and I were driving around and wanted to go somewhere different. We couldn't make up our mind and my grandson just knew he needed food and needed now :)
As we were driving on Sunset, we decided to stop by Q4U BBQ, I heard a few others say it was good, so we went out on a limb and went there.I have to say, we were happy with our choice.
My daughter and grandson just moved back here from North Carolina and this food reminded me of when I went there to visit them. I ordered the catfish with black eyed peas and collard greens. I received a generous portion of catfish and most times I am a bit apprehensive on eating collard greens unless I know how it is served. I was pleased with my choice and I loved the black eyed peas. There was a sweet flavor to them. I'm not sure what it was, but it had the right balance. And in my opinion, the best perk is that they serve Pepsi products. Yeah for that one.
My grandson loved the Mac and Cheese. We ordered more for him, but that was what he was wanting and I didn't want to argue with a 2 yr old. That was not on my agenda for the day.
My daughter ordered the ribs and that came with mac and cheese and I forget what else she had. But the rub they used tasted like they made it in the South. It was tender and tasty. If you like ribs, you should give this place a try. I know I will be back for the catfish. Its hard to find good catfish. Some places make these strips and you just don't get your moneys worth. You will here.
If you like sports, you will love this. You can have your dinner and watch your favorite games. I wonder if they play the Phoenix Suns though :). I have been to other places that show sports, but for some reason I like this. It is small and quaint and not overpriced.
